Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our orthopedic unit. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and coordination with ancillary departments. Requires RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS as applicable, with BSN preferred and acute care experience

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
