Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas seeks an experienced RN Orthopedic for a part-time day shift in Shawnee Mission. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education to promote understanding and recovery.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, adhere to standards of care, and participate in ongoing professional development through our Clinical Ladder Program and related opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; revise as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for adverse reactions per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
