Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a qualified RN for a part-time role in Shawnee, KS. The position involves comprehensive patient assessments and development of individualized care plans in a high-volume acute care setting.

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality of care. Applicants should hold an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not required for all units.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
