Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse on NT4 with an opportunity offering a $10,000 sign-on for external applicants and a 41-bed unit that handles total joint, urology, orthopedic trauma, and gynecology cases.

The role requires BLS within 30 days, an Illinois RN license, and a nursing diploma or associate degree, with at least 1 year of nursing experience. Varied shifts and a supportive care team are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days after hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR).
• Education: Nursing Diploma; Associate’s Degree.
• Work Experience: RN > 1 yr.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the care team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops care plan per unit standards.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Delegates and monitors interventions of HCT staff.
