Job summary

Carle Health is hiring an RN for NT4 with a 41-bed unit, handling complex joint and trauma cases. The role supports post-op hip/knee/shoulder care and related urology and gynecology procedures, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants meeting 3-year commitment.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days, RN license, and nursing diploma or associate degree with >1 year of experience. Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Associate degree or diploma in nursing relevant to unit.
• RN with 1+ year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care for the care team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan per unit standards.
• Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and staff safety and address hazards.
• Communicates with others to resolve issues and provides feedback for peers.
