UNC Rex Hospital, part of UNC Health, in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Registered Nurse for the 6 West Orthopedic Unit. This on-site, full-time role supports a fast-paced, 36-hour workweek with night shifts on a 30-bed unit dedicated to post-surgical orthopedic care.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of a professional nursing program, licensed in NC, with BLS certification and at least one year of nursing experience. UNC Health offers growth opportunities and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide competent clinical nursing care aligned with professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team to promote continuity of care.
• Support education and learning needs of self and patients.
• Prioritize tasks for patients with complex needs.
• Assist in planning and discharge readiness with patient/family.
• Contribute to unit goals and performance improvement activities.
