Job summary

Albany Med's Orthopaedic Surgery department seeks an experienced Residency Program Administrator to oversee accreditation, budgeting, scheduling, and educational activities. You will help ensure a high-quality residency program in Radiology by coordinating faculty, residents, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities include managing expenses, maintaining files, preparing forms for registrations, and supporting site visits with ACGME/ABR updates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred; 3–5 years’ related experience.
• Must have organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate complex schedules.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient in Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residency office management, estimate and monitor expenses.
• Maintain departmental files and prepare forms and requests.
• Manage residency coverage schedules for Radiology and rotation calendars.
• Prepare letters of recommendation, verifications, and references.
• Coordinate monthly conference schedules, evaluations, and resident affairs.
• Ensure data and records are ready for ACGME site visits and updates.
• Plan Resident/Fellow Awards Banquet.
• Develop and maintain curricula and evaluations in New Innovations.
