Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Greater Phoenix team. The role focuses on preparing patients for radiologic procedures, performing X-ray imaging, and ensuring patient safety with proper shielding and documentation.

Sign-on bonus available and a strong benefits package. Applicants should have 1–2 years radiology experience, completion of an approved radiologic program, ARRT certification, and an MRTBE license in Arizona, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience in a busy orthopedic setting preferred.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT certification for radiologic technology.
• Arizona MRTBE license required; CPR certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding
• Take X-rays following established safety procedures
• Document patient care in the chart
• Import outside imaging to office PACS
• Scan documents into EMR
• Maintain QC logs and dosimetry badges as required by regulations
• Ensure equipment is functioning and radiology supplies are stocked
