Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a leading orthopedic care team in Scottsdale. The role focuses on patient preparation, performing radiologic procedures, and safeguarding patients from radiation exposure in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of approved ARRT Technologist Program.
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by ARRT.
• Arizona State license MRTBE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain all procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding.
• Take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Document patient care services in charts.
• Import outside imaging to office PACS.
• Scan documents into EMR.
• Maintain QC logs and service records; monitor dosimetry badges as required by regulations.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and radiology supplies are stocked.
