Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist for the Orthopedic Services department in Charlotte. The role involves performing diagnostic procedures, maintaining records, and providing patient education while ensuring radiation safety and compliance with state regulations.

Eligibility includes ARRT certification, CPR, and up to one year of patient experience. Full-time, M-F 8-5, with on-call coverage as needed and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes teamwork and quality service.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures in line with state regulations for radiation protection.
• Maintains patient records with accurate data entry and image archiving.
• Provides education and consultation to health care personnel and patients.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after hours as required.
