Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic radiologic procedures in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintains coordination with others to accomplish objectives.
• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Keeps knowledge of procedures and equipment up to date.
• Ensures accurate patient records via data entry and image archiving.
• Performs point of care testing as assigned and compliant with policies.
• Provides instruction and consultation to health care personnel and patients to improve care.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after hours as required.
• Delivers age-appropriate care per guidelines for age groups served.
