Job summary

OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC seeks a Radiology Technologist for the South Park office to perform diagnostic radiographs with attention to radiation safety. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and communicate procedures while maintaining clean exam rooms and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications include graduation from an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT registry eligibility or certification, and at least one year of orthopedic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by the ARRT and AMA.
• Minimum of one year experience as an x-ray tech with orthopedic background.
• ARRT registry eligible or certified as Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform diagnostic radiographs per department policy.
• Explain procedures, obtain clinical history and address questions.
• Log procedures and process charges and paperwork; transport patients as needed.
• Maintain clean examination rooms and stock supplies; ensure safety protocols.
• Assist with patient flow in examination modules as directed by supervisor.
