Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist who will perform diagnostic procedures and support patient care. Requires ARRT certification and CPR, with preferred six months of technologist experience and one year with patients.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment readiness, documenting records accurately, and providing education to staff and patients while on-site and available for emergency on-call coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.
• Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Registry eligible and must become registered within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Performs diagnostic and/or therapeutic radiologic procedures in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintains coordination of activities with others to accomplish work objectives.
• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of procedures, equipment and systems used to perform job functions and ensures documentation accuracy.
