Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is Tennessee's largest orthopaedic surgery group, serving patients across 20+ locations. The PTA role supports physicians in providing comprehensive orthopedic care to diverse patient populations while maintaining TOA's high standards of care.

We seek a graduate of an accredited program who is eligible for Tennessee licensure and CPR certified, with strong communication and time-management skills to join our team and contribute to excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program; eligible for Tennessee licensure and CPR certification.
  • Caring, compassionate, independent, and determined.
  • Excellent communication with patients, physicians and supervising therapists.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality daily treatment for patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
  • Make assessments and observations to assist treatment planning with supervising physical therapists.
  • Provide updates with therapists, physicians and patients on treatment progression.
  • Assist in scheduling and treatment logistics for patients.
  • Document progress notes and functional reports for insurance providers.
  • Accurately process charges and ensure documentation matches services.
  • Adhere to regulatory laws and guidelines to ensure optimal patient care.
