Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an on-site, full-time role in Sevierville/Knoxville area. The PTA will work closely with physicians and rehab staff to deliver high-quality orthopedic care to diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and eligible for Tennessee licensure; CPR certification required.
• Caring, compassionate, independent, and determined.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians, and supervising therapists.
• Excellent time management to balance patient care and documentation.
• Able to adapt to varying treatment plans from different supervising therapists.
• Experience with progression of orthopedic treatments and modalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality daily treatment for patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Assess patient abilities and assist in developing treatment plans.
• Communicate progress with therapists, physicians, and patients.
• Assist therapists with scheduling and treatment logistics.
• Document progress notes and functional reports for insurers.
• Complete charging and ensure documentation matches services.
• Adhere to laws and practice guidelines to ensure optimal care.
