Rehab Associates in Lynchburg, VA seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to implement PT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will address the whole patient, assist with ambulation, transfers, and daily living activities, and support a patient-centered approach in a busy outpatient setting.

You will document care, use therapeutic modalities, and collaborate with a clinical director to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure as a PTA or ability to obtain in Virginia.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Timely documentation: daily notes, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Deliver active and passive manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as prescribed.
• Administer traction to relieve neck and back pain.
• Instruct and assist patients in functional activities (ambulation, transfers, daily living activities).
• Collaborate with PT staff and health team to plan and coordinate treatment programs.
• Measure range of motion, vital signs, and other data for patient evaluations.

Ausbildung
