Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy aimed at pain relief, restore function, and prevent disability after illness or injury in San Angelo, TX.

You will develop individualized programs using exercise, manual therapy, heat, water, and electrical modalities, perform initial and re-evaluations, document progress, and educate patients and caregivers on exercises and device use.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through active and passive exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, and device use.
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing re-evaluations; document progress for the rehabilitation team.
• Possibly supervise staff, train students, and educate patients and caregivers on exercises and device use.

They may supervise staff, train students, and educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and device use.

Qualifications and Skills:

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

Candidates must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Certifications Include Pelvic Health.

The role requires proficiency in using therapy equipment such as ultrasound machines, diathermy, whirlpools, and contrast baths, along with strong interpersonal and instructional skills.
