Qualifications

• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy rules and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and route to proper staff or department.
• Schedule new and existing patients for appointments.
• Process referrals and communicate with other facilities.
• Scan documents such as insurance cards and patient info.
• Review and distribute faxes and emails electronically.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Work with EHR system tasks and communicate with staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
