Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking a Physician Assistant (PRN) to join our Near North team, working with orthopedic surgeons in hospital or surgery center settings. The PA provides professional patient care under physician protocols.

Responsibilities span outpatient clinic and hospital settings, including rounds, orders, injections, imaging interpretation, and post-operative care; emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and patient safety within a premier orthopedic practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with completed residency.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active NCCPA certification and Illinois PA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in clinic and hospital settings per physician guidelines.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room and during rounds.
• Dictate and review orders, tests, and imaging findings.
• Perform H&Ps, discharge summaries and clinic notes.
• Coordinate patient care across office, hospital, and ambulatory centers.
• Maintain clinical privileges and documentation standards.
