OrthoArizona is seeking a Certified Professional Coder to join our expanding orthopedic practice across multiple sites. You will code CPT/ICD-10 on operative reports, communicate with physicians on complex cases, and ensure compliant chart coding and timely claims submission.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, billing and coding regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of health insurance plans and benefits.
• Excellent knowledge of payer rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Operative and/or Procedure notes.
• Apply CPT and ICD-10 codes to Operative reports.
• Communicate with providers regarding complex/unusual cases.
• Prepare, review, and submit clean claims to insurance companies within timely filing limits.
• All other duties as assigned.
