You will document encounters within 24 hours, prepare orders, and ensure exam rooms are ready, while upholding privacy and professional service. CPR certification and 1–3 years in orthopaedic back office are desirable.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• 1-3 years of back office medical assistant experience in an orthopaedic office preferred.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Proficient with computers and Outlook software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider in clinic with patient visits.
• Document in EMR and ensure charting within 24 hours.
• Prepare diagnostic studies and reports for review.
• Handle charges and documentation for procedures ordered by provider.
• Maintain stocked exam rooms and assist with instrument sterilization.
• Return patient calls and portal messages the same day.
