Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support assigned provider in clinic with patient visits and procedures.
• Document in EMR: history, meds, PMH, vitals and chart updates.
• Ensure authorization and documentation for visits and charges.
• Complete and submit orders; notify provider of denial or incomplete orders.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope of certification: injections, EKGs, wound care; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure charting within 24 hours of service and liaison between patient and provider.
• Coordinate scheduling with Office Manager and notify delays to front desk.
• Maintain stocked exam rooms and proper waste management.
