Job summary

North American Medical Associates in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking an Orthopedic Medical Assistant to support physicians and deliver patient-centered care. Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthopedic terminology.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Willingness to travel to other locations to support physicians.

Responsibilities

• Patient preparation: take medical history, record vital signs, prep for examinations or procedures.
• Provide diagnostic support: collect specimens for testing and obtain diagnostic results.
• Assist with splints, casts, minor procedures, injections, and suture removal.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain and update medical records including test results and treatment notes.
• Coordinate hospital admissions or testing and manage correspondence.
