Bronson Health in Kalamazoo is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Bronson Orthopedic & Joint Specialists team. The role supports providers with clinical care, patient intake, and chart documentation.

You will perform vital signs, assist with procedures, and help educate patients on medications and care plans. This full-time position requires CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or eligibility within 6 months, completion of an accredited MA program, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA certified
• Meet eligibility requirements to take CMA/RMA and must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Under provider direction, perform general nursing functions and record vital signs.
• Post information to patient charts and educate patients about medications and care.
• Assist with examinations and procedures (laceration repair, pap/pelvic, etc.).
• Prepare patients for tests and coordinate admissions/referrals in EMR.
• Maintain confidentiality and schedule tests/procedures as needed.
