Bronson Neurosurgery in Kalamazoo is hiring a Medical Assistant for full-time, 40 hours per week. You will support providers with clinical tasks, document patient information, and prepare patients for examinations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited medical assistant program with CMA/CCMA/RMA eligibility, and BLS certification within 90 days. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed an accredited medical assistant program with CMA/CCMA/RMA certification eligibility or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Record vital signs and immunizations; perform initial patient assessment.
• Document patient history and chart information; educate patients and families about medications and tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures (laceration repair, pap/pelvic, etc.).
• Coordinate referrals and tests with other departments and providers.
• Enter and retrieve data in EMR; maintain chart accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with scheduling and front-desk tasks as needed.
