Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a Division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care. Responsibilities include casting, bracing, taking vital signs, preparing injections, and documenting in the EMR to ensure efficient clinic flow.

You will work in a team-focused orthopedics setting, interacting with patients and staff to deliver high-quality care and a welcoming experience. Minimum education is high school diploma; MA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, casting, bracing and other duties as assigned.
• Prepare exam rooms and patient education materials.
• Document patient information in the EMR and coordinate with staff to maintain clinic flow.
