Responsibilities

• Answer the phone with polite, consistent etiquette.
• Scan and enter patient information into the EMR, photocopying or forms support.
• Update patient information in EMR; verify addresses and phone numbers.
• Review new patient information for accuracy and completion.
• Confirm and reschedule patient appointments as needed.
• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Uphold HIPAA and professional confidentiality standards.
• Collect EMR records such as lab reports and images as requested by the Physician.
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
