Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthopedic bracing and DME billing, with safety standards.
• Proficiency in fitting devices and using Epic and third-party software.
• Strong communication skills and accurate documentation are essential.
• Ability to travel between locations and collaborate with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Fit and educate patients on orthopedic devices and DME per provider orders.
• Apply and remove casts and splints while maintaining room readiness and inventory.
• Utilize Epic and MotionMD to verify benefits, pre-authorizations, and collect patient payments.
• Document all services and payer-required forms to ensure compliant billing.
• Support inventory management and report equipment issues to leadership.
• Build strong relationships with patients, providers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in line with standards.
• Perform additional duties to support efficient orthopedic and DME services.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care and developmental considerations per department standards.
