Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to support the Human Performance and Gait laboratory and local orthopaedic clinics. You will provide clinical athletic training services, assist with data collection, and coordinate patient care on a Monday–Friday schedule, with room for travel to clinic locations as needed.

Requirements include a CAATE-accredited degree, BOC certification, licensure within 30 days, and BLS within 30 days; a sign-on bonus up to $12,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a CAATE-accredited program.
• BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Currently licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete AHA Healthcare Provider (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical athletic training services in orthopaedic clinics following ACE/BOC standards and state regulations; may travel to clinic locations.
• Record patient histories and perform injury evaluations to assess function.
• Order x-rays or imaging as directed by providers.
• Assist with injections and wound care; apply braces or casts as needed.
• Support physicians with concussion testing and education; deliver home exercise programs.
