Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant in Hickory. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a-5p. The role focuses on coordinating orthopedic patient care, performing routine office procedures, and supporting physicians with examinations and education.

Proficiency with EPIC EMR, strong communication, and the ability to triage calls are essential. Candidates must graduate from an accredited program in medical assisting, nursing, athletic training, or hold a related degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, nursing or a college degree in a related field.
• New graduates are welcome.
• Active & Current Driver’s license/ Clean driving record
• Travel to other OC locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems.
• Completing phone triage.
• Casting and bracing.
• Performing routine office procedures.
• Providing patient education.
