Job summary

OrthoCarolina seeks a full-time Clinical Assistant for our Pediatric location in Charlotte. The role supports orthopedic patient care through routine office procedures, testing, and patient education, collaborating with physicians and mid-level providers.

Responsibilities include documenting in the EMR, handling triage calls, casting, and assisting with injections, with travel to other OC locations possible. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required.
• CMA/RMA must be registered/certified through one of the following national organizations: AAMA, NHA, ARMA, AMT, or AMCA.
• EMTs will need Emergency Medical Technician certification, national certification accepted.
• ATCs must be board certified as Athletic Trainer.
• New graduates are welcome.
• Travel to other OC locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems (EMR).
• Completing phone triage.
• Casting and bracing.
• Performing routine office procedures.
• Providing patient education.
