OrthoLoneStar’s TXO-Leander Clinic in Leander, TX is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care, casting, bracing, and routine procedures. You will prepare rooms, take vital signs, manage orders, and help educate patients while ensuring privacy and dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the musculoskeletal team, EMR documentation, and adherence to clinic standards. Prior health‑care experience preferred; MA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with patient care, including casting and bracing.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness.
• Administer injections and manage procedure documentation.
• Assist with phlebotomy if certified.
• Maintain EMR documentation and patient records.
