Job summary

Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a Clinic Lead to coordinate clinical operations and staff. You will train team members, support scheduling, ensure quality standards, and assist with evaluating staff and patient flow.

The role involves managing timecards, inventory, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with clinic leadership. A CMA certification or equivalent, supervisory experience, and EMR proficiency are preferred, with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate is required.
• Lead or supervisory/management experience is required.
• 2+ years in medical office plus Medical Assistant experience.
• CMA certificate or equivalent; current MA certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification current and active.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach staff; support ongoing skill development.
• Facilitate communication between team and management.
• Track team progress and report performance to leadership.
• Manage schedules for all clinic staff and handle time off.
• Assist in evaluating clinic staff and KPIs.
• Support patient flow, exam room prep, and patient care duties as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines are followed.
