Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in Walnut Creek, CA seeks a Clinic Lead to supervise clinical operations and team coordination. You will train staff, help with scheduling, ensure quality standards, and support patient care with hands-on clinical tasks.

You’ll track performance, manage time-off and shift coverage, assist in evaluating staff, and act as a resource for new workflows. Strong supervisory experience in a medical office and CMA certification are preferred, with proficiency in EMR and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate required.
• CMA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2 years in medical office experience required.
• 3–5 years of Medical Assistant experience in orthopedics preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new team members and support ongoing skill development.
• Facilitate communication between team and management; relay feedback.
• Track team progress and report performance to leadership.
• Coordinate staff schedules, time off and daily call outs.
• Support patient care with tasks like rooming and assisting physicians.
• Assist in evaluating clinic staff and developing KPIs.
• Verify timecard data under supervision of Clinic Manager.
• Maintain infection control and confidentiality policies.
