Responsibilities

• Enter referrals and/or authorizations into the EHR system.
• Register patients and obtain insurance authorization for new patients and for tests or procedures.
• Coordinate follow-up care as referrals expire and ensure payer requirements are met.
• Maintain up-to-date insurance information in the EHR.
• Transcribe or process referral requests to initiate visits and services.
• Collaborate with scheduling and clinical teams to facilitate patient visits.
