Qualifications

• Active Athletic Trainer certification for ND prior to start date.
• Active Athletic Trainer certification for MN within 6 months of start date.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient education and care per agreed plan.
• Serve as first assistant under orthopedic physician supervision.
• Apply/remove casts, dressings, splints, and other orthopedic devices.
• Provide outreach event coverage and sports education/training.
• Perform on-site injury assessment and initial treatment including first aid/BLS.
• Identify predisposing conditions for injury and assist with taping and bracing.
