Job summary

Allina Health in Faribault, MN is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer for a 1.0 FTE day shift position. You will provide clinical athletic training services in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, conduct patient evaluations, and coordinate care with the clinical team to support patient flow and recovery plans.

The role requires at least a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training orBachelor’s degree in Athletic Training (prior to 2022)
• Basic proficiency in electronic medical record documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical athletic training services in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians
• Gathers patient histories, vitals, and documents in the EMR per protocol
• Coordinate and communicate with physicians and the care team to support patient flow and rehab plans
