Job summary

Wermerson Orthodontics in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Practice Manager to oversee clinic operations with the Doctor’s support. You will manage people, drive growth and profitability, and enhance patient experience while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience (orthodontic/dental preferred) and a high school diploma, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities to lead local marketing are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinic experience within the organization
• 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Orthodontic or dental experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma required

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Doctor to create a positive clinical culture and ensure team behaviors reflect clinical excellence and patient care
• Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a positive demeanor
• Ensure the office adopts new tools, protocols and initiatives
• Understand and monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to achieve monthly goals
• Build relationships within the local dental community and participate in local marketing
• Manage controllable costs including labor hours and supplies
• Serve as a liaison between the Doctor and the team regarding assignments, priorities, and performance
• Cover clinic roles when business demands
• Follow protocols to ensure OSHA, HIPAA and state regulations compliance
