Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our orthodontic team and patients. You’ll help maintain a smooth, friendly clinical flow and ensure high-quality care across the patient journey.

You will assist with bonding, arch wire work, impressions, imaging, and patient education, while upholding rigorous record-keeping and collaboration with the orthodontist. This on-site role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Assist Orthodontist during procedures with precision.
• Unify arch wires, bonding preparation, and impressions as needed.
• Take X-rays and manage imaging records per protocol.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up steps.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups to ensure timely treatment.
