Job summary
Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support the orthodontic team, help provide patient-centered care, and contribute to efficient treatment sessions. You will assist the Orthodontist, manage arch-wires, take impressions and x-rays, and help educate patients on post-treatment care in a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of specific orthodontic experience.
- Must be willing to travel within assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests with a smile.
- Assisting Orthodontist with procedures.
- Untying and tying arch-wires.
- Bending and placing arch-wires.
- Fitting bands.
- Preparing for and assisting with bonding.
- Taking impressions.
- Communicating with patients and families.
- Taking x-rays and developing x-rays.
- Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs.
- Utilizing the computer imaging system.
- Sterilizing instruments.
- Pouring up models.
- Inventorying supplies.
