Job summary

Diamond Braces is seeking a Dental Billing Specialist to manage dental insurance claims, CDT coding, Medicaid billing, and follow-ups. This hybrid/remote role begins with training and then offers flexible work arrangements after onboarding, with a focus on accuracy and timely payments.

You will submit claims, track denials, post payments, assist with patient billing, and maintain compliant records. Requires 3+ years of dental insurance billing experience and proficiency with practice management

• Experience with Medicaid dental billing preferred.
• Proven ability to reduce denials and manage claim follow-ups.

Role Objective

You Are Responsible For One Thing

Accurate claims. Fast payment. Minimal denials.

You will manage the full lifecycle of dental insurance billing, including submission, follow-up, and resolution.

Core Responsibilities

Claim Submission

Submit clean, accurate dental insurance claims using correct CDT codes

Insurance Follow-Up

Track and aggressively follow up on outstanding claims to ensure payment

Medicaid & Insurance Billing

Handle commercial and state-sponsored plans including Medicaid

Denial Resolution

Identify root causes of denials and correct issues quickly

Payment Posting

Post insurance payments accurately and reconcile discrepancies

Patient Billing Support

Explain insurance coverage and patient responsibility clearly

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate, audit-ready billing records

Requirements

• 3+ years of dental insurance billing experience
• Strong knowledge of CDT codes and insurance claim workflows
• Experience with Medicaid dental billing preferred
• Proven ability to reduce denials and manage claim follow-ups
• Experience with billing or practice management software
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to work independently in a structured environment
