Diamond Braces is seeking an experienced Dental Billing Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of dental insurance billing from submission through follow-up and resolution. The role emphasizes CDT coding, Medicaid workflows, and maintaining accurate billing records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental insurance billing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CDT codes and insurance claim workflows.
• Experience with Medicaid dental billing preferred.
• Proven ability to reduce denials and manage claim follow-ups.
• Experience with billing or practice management software.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Insurance Follow-Up: Track and aggressively follow up on outstanding claims to ensure payment.
• Medicaid & Insurance Billing: Handle commercial and state-sponsored plans including Medicaid.
• Denial Resolution: Identify root causes of denials and correct issues quickly.
• Payment Posting: Post insurance payments accurately and reconcile discrepancies.
• Patient Billing Support: Explain insurance coverage and patient responsibility clearly.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, audit-ready billing records.

Role Objective
