Birmingham Orthodontics is hiring a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join a patient-focused practice dedicated to creating lasting smiles. If you’re motivated, compassionate, and experienced in orthodontic assisting, we’d love to meet you and add you to our growing Rock Dental Brands family.

Qualifications

• Must have some Orthodontic Assistant experience.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, tools, and terminology.
• Positive, patient-first attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments to ensure each patient receives top-notch care.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment — keeping things organized, clean, and ready to go.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, bands, and retainers.
• Take digital scans and help fabricate custom appliances and retainers.
• Educate and support patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
• Keep accurate treatment notes and collaborate with your teammates to deliver amazing results.
