Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support pediatric patients and provide a friendly, kid-centered experience. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist orthodontists, take X-rays, and maintain instruments to ensure smooth daily workflows.

The role requires a reliable, energetic team player with orthodontic experience and a dedication to patient care. Full-time with benefits is offered, including opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours – No nights!
