Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Clinical Customer Service Representative for the Ortho Trauma Surgery unit in Baltimore. This full-time evening-shift role (40 hours) is the central point of contact for patients, families, visitors and the care team, delivering professional, friendly, efficient service daily.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in healthcare or an office setting, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic presentation/spreadsheet software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
• Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and the health care team.
• Perform daily duties with professional, friendly and efficient service.
• Assist Nursing staff and Administrative staff to meet unit and department needs.
