Responsibilities

• Demonstrates anatomy knowledge related to procedures.
• Assembles and troubleshoots equipment for procedures.
• Ensures all necessary equipment is in the room before a case, including medications.
• Operates electrosurgical, diagnostic, microscopic laser, video, and disposable equipment.
• Maintains sterile technique and asepsis; handles specimens appropriately.
• Communicates with team to ensure appropriate care and outcome planning.
• Performs splinting and casting as directed; updates preference cards.
• Coordinate with inventory staff and respond to patient needs quickly.
