Job summary

Applied Medical in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Orthopedic Specialist Associate to provide surgical case coverage and customer support across a territory. You will support territory sales reps, deliver clinical expertise during procedures, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Candidates should have a 4-year degree and a background in healthcare or clinical support. You must be willing to travel extensively and meet credentialing requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree and healthcare/clinical support experience encouraged.
• Ability to learn medical terminology, surgical procedures, and product information quickly.
• Willingness to travel significantly across geographic territory.
• Must meet third-party credentialing requirements including vaccination where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical case coverage across multiple accounts in the territory.
• Serve as a resource for case coverage needs and product evaluations.
• Deliver clinical and technical expertise to surgeons, nurses, and OR staff.
• Support territory sales reps and leadership in sales/service execution.
• Build relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital admins.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, techniques, and competitive offerings.
• Assist with staff education and product training in-service.
