You will lead nursing practice and administrative operations, partner with the Nursing Operations Manager, and focus on patient experience, budget, staffing, and quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to staffing and process improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• Two years of RN experience in an acute setting.
• Current Alabama RN licensure or NLC.
• Maintain BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Shared 24/7 accountability with the Nursing Operations Manager.
• Participate in recruitment and selection for the unit.
• Coordinate with HR on corrective action and career advancement.
• Oversee unit schedules to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Monitor patient flow and outcomes to meet targets.
• Lead staff meetings and promote quality improvement initiatives.
