Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks an Orthopaedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to cover perioperative care and surgical assistance in Exeter, NH. You will collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care across the perioperative continuum.

The role includes inpatient rounding, ED consults, and OR first/second assist duties, with day-one benefits and opportunities for growth within the system.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of directly related surgical experience.
• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Licensure: NH license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as 1st and 2nd surgical assistant in the OR.
• Perform inpatient rounds, ED consults, and follow-up care.
• Assess patients, order diagnostic studies, and manage procedures.
• Prescribe medications per NH guidelines.
• Lead quality improvement and support certification efforts.
