Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic general radiology procedures using a variety of imaging equipment to assist in diagnosing disease and injuries. You will collaborate with radiologists, follow department protocols, and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Required certifications include BLS, ARRT registration, state licensure, and an associate degree with a radiologic technology certificate.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days (AHA); ARRT registration within 1 year; IEMA radiologic technologist license.
• Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per protocols.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Administers IV/contrast and oral/rectal contrast when necessary.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Assists in instruction of students and new staff as necessary.
